How does the ’10 Sorento drive compared to other Round Lake Beach used cars?  The 2010 Sorento weighs around 475 lbs less than the current model.  Less weight helps improve performance, along with the V6 engine.  It’s said to get around roads pretty well.

Also, since this Waukegan new car is a crossover, it’s larger than a coupe or sedan, which is perfect for transporting a few kids and their sporting gear.  The newly designed vehicle has plenty of cargo and passenger room.  It is a Crossover that compares positively to other vehicles in its class.

Kia revealed the price of the new 2011 Sorento, available at dealerships such as Waukegan new car dealerships, Antioch used car dealerships, and other locations nation-wide in early 2010. Consumers can get a five-seat unibody crossover with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder and a manual transmission standard for an impressive $19,995. With a 175 horsepower engine and 169 pound-feet of force, these features are also standard for the LX and EX models, but the higher-tier models have automatic transmissions. Kia aims to significantly increase their share of the utility vehicle market with the 2011 Kia Sorento.

The top level model is the EX V6, with a 3.5-liter V6 offering 276 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of force. All variants of the 2011 Kia Sorento come in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, with a seven-seat version available as well. The 2011 Kia Sorento EX V6 is priced at $28,895. The 2011 Waukegan Kia Sorento is coming to dealerships in January.  This car was among many others rated one of the top autos for 2011 by Globe Drive.  Kia has once again launched a vehicle that they hope will win over  new car buyers!

According to the company, the only thing that is the same about the Sorento is it’s name.  This new SUV has totally been revamped with some great features.  Let’s see what some of these are……

First of all, this Waukegan new car is “made in the USA.”  Kia built a manufacturing plant down in Georgia, and the Sorento is the first to come out of it.  Even cooler is that the plant gets all the parts it needs from within a 20 mile radius and the Kia specific 6 speed auto transmission is built right there on site.

Another change that comes with the Sorento, as opposed to some other Round Lake used car models, is that it’s more of a car-like SUV, than a truck feel.  Some experts had the opportunity to drive on open roads and they found it to have very minimal cabin noise, good steering, and an overall smooth drive.

The Waukegan Kia Sorento comes in several different options.  The base model starts just under $20K and offers a 4 cylinder engine.  The V6 models will offer the driver better fuel economy of around 21/29 mpg, but also come with a bit of a higher price tag.

It’s the end of the Kia Amanti as we know it. Production of Kia’s largest sedan has officially ended, but that doesn’t mean there’s no future in large Kia sedans. Up next is the new Kia Cadenza, much prettier than the car it’s replacing, due to be released in the States sometime in the next twelve months or so.

The large sedan is generally intended to appeal to folks with a desire for luxury, but Kia has always prided itself on offering quality vehicles for more reasonable prices. That was the plan for the Amanti, but due to some criticism about the look and feel of the vehicle, the Korean car company felt inclined to innovate a little, with what appears to be very solid results.

Named after an Italian musical term that describes a lovely yet elaborate flourish of notes, the Cadenza is an attractive automobile. The crease running along the sides of the vehicle are a nice touch, as are the redesigned grill and depressed hood edges. This car looks like luxury all over, and Kia fans are already buzzing about the company’s new line.

It is a slightly shorter vehicle than the Amanti, however, but it boasts a wider wheel base that translates to more interior space. The Korean version of the car, to be released in 2010, features a 3.5-liter V6 engine, but it’s also possible it could pack a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder under the hood instead. No matter what engine option a buyer chooses, the vehicle will include a six-speed automatic transmission and power outputs somewhere in the 162 to 286 horsepower range.

If you’re in Waukegan, Kia Amanti options will still be available. In Round Lake, used cars always are in hot demand, so if you’re a fan of the old large Kia sedan, fret not. They’re still out there if you’re willing to look for them.

Waukegan new car enthusiasts will have to wait a little over a year to get their hands on the new Cadenza, which means that in the meantime the largest new sedan Kia can offer is the mid-sized Optima. That only happens when the current stock of Amantis runs dry, and as the Cadenza just recently made its auto show debut in Saudi Arabia, there will plenty for us to chew on in the meantime.

Change is coming, and while that might not always be a good thing, it certainly is in this case.

Who ever thought a minivan could be luxurious? Well, the Kia Sedona may just do it.

Just recently I found out I’m going to have my fourth daughter in a few months and my husband and I decided it’s time to upgrade to a minivan to fit the whole clan. We started test-driving minivans like the Nissan Quest and Toyota Sienna and weren’t really falling in love with anything. A couple weeks ago my sister suggested we stop at Waukegan new car dealer Classic Kia.

We went and test-drove a Sedona van at the new and used Waukegan car dealer and ended up driving off the lot in it about an hour later. What really sold us was the space. Having a larger family, there’s just always more “stuff” everywhere, and if we couldn’t fit everyone and everything in the Sedona, we have a problem.

The Sedona, which seats up to 7 persons in a 2-2-3 arrangement, has a very low floor and relatively tall roofline, which accounts for a good majority of the spaciousness.  Parents know the frustration when you’re leaning in the backseat trying to unhook your 2-year-old from the car seat and the seat belt gets in the way and you’re squished between her chest and the back of passenger’s seat. Those frustrating situations cease to exist with the Sedona. There’s so much room for any sort of movement or maneuvering and 3^rd-row passengers can easily migrate to their seat.

To put the space into some perspective, there’s 7 1/2 cubic feet of luggage space, and it multiplies by 15X when the 2^nd and 3^rd row seats are removed, revealing 121 cubic feet of open space.

My husband and I also thought the Sedona was a great choice because it has the highest safety rating of any minivan currently on the market. With so many little ones, we’d be foolish to choose anything but the van with the highest ratings.

In terms of the basics, it has a decent fuel economy. The Waukegan Kia Sedona we purchased averages 17 mpg highway and 23 mpg city. Of course, you don’t get a lot of feedback on the vehicle by launching hamsters into oddly repetitive traffic. But I have visited an area dealer for a Chicago Kia Soul test drive previously. There are a lot of things to love about the Soul and very little to dislike. Obviously, you need to be the type of person looking for a vehicle that delivers lots of interior space while providing excellent fuel-economy and remaining sized for life on the go in an urban environment.

Also good if you’re the type of person who is looking for a fun car, a car endorsed and driven by hamsters.

One item that caught my attention was a delightful Kia preview. Personally, I’m a huge fan of Kia’s mix of class and style, and I’ve been looking for something new and big from these guys for a few years now. At this year’s Frankfurt Auto Show, Kia unveiled its 2010 Venga, an MPV that makes its mark in a young automotive segment.

While Waukegan dealers might not get a look at this vehicle for a few years, the Kia Venga is a step in the right direction for the South Korean manufacturer. The strikingly handsome design elements and detail touches are reminiscent of the buzz-worthy Kia No3 concept car. A long wheelbase and wide track contribute to the vehicle’s unique but attractive and stable sporty design. This isn’t your typical ‘minivan’ concept; in fact, the Kia seems to purposefully neglect the boxy profile associated with other B-segment MPVs.

I’d like to highlight the Kia Venga’s spacious and comfortable interior; a new-style four-spoke steering wheel that can be adjusted for height and reach frames the car’s “three-cylinder” instrument cluster. The unusually long wheelbase, high roofline, and best-in-class width helps facilitate an undeniably roomy driving experience. The information panel leverages a Dot Matrix presentation, offering drivers information about the audio system, outside temperature, time, day and date. The Kia Venga adds an extra touch of class at Waukegan Kia dealers.

While the 2010 Kia Venga won’t be immediately available in the United States, Waukegan new car dealers are stoked about the vehicle’s development because it represents a logical and innovative next step for the manufacturer. If we never see the Venga on U.S. shores, we’re sure to at least see an even more refined vehicle that will benefit from the Venga’s overseas experience.

The most respected worldwide companies in terms of car safety evaluation all have the Kia Soul at the top of the list. The 2010 Soul is winning seemingly every safety award around. Leading the safety achievement list is the “Top Safety Pick” award from North American Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Earning the “Top Safety Pick” is more than a small honor, as the NAIIHS does the serious bulk of crash testing and are the unofficial safety police. The NAIIHS is kind of like me when I was the hall monitor in the 6th grade, but with more respect and better notepads.

It’s tough to argue with the safest car when you are a family man. A 5-star safety rating (out of 5) from EuroNCAP confirms the Soul’s protective qualities. While I’m someone who likes the design of the 2010 Soul, visual appeal is often a matter of preference for different Waukegan new car buyers. Plenty of people like the Soul for its defiant, urban look as well. But perhaps the most impressive and innovative design on this Kia is what you can’t see. I took a Chicago Kia Soul test drive a few months ago, and I was impressed with the vehicle. I found it difficult to believe that so much car came so affordably. Now, with all of the information emerging about the safety of this vehicle, it seems tough for any local car buyer to pass up this Waukegan new car.

Ok, maybe it’s not a Ferrari, but the updates we can expect on the new 2010 Waukegan Kia Rio are enough to write (and dream) about.   I checked in with my favorite Waukegan new car dealer to find out more information and, unfortunately for us guys that eat and sleep Kia, information is slim.  But for fear of giving you a heart attack with anticipation, I’ll give you the skinny on hours of non-stop research coupled with 3 bowls of Lucky Charms and 1 bathroom break:  this car is going to rock for the consumer that wants reliability with super-solid amenities.

The outside of the car will get a slew of design updates including a new, sharper grille, an edgier air intake and a sporty set of fog lights.  It gives the car, dare I say, a rally car feel similar to the likes of a Subaru Impreza.  This, of course, offers new opportunities for the driver to add homemade sponsor stickers and a made-up race number to the outside of the car.  Start making loud engine noises with your mouth at a red light while staring at the driver next to you, and guess what?  You’re in the racing business.
