2012 Kias to be built with WiBro wireless internet capability

With the constant advancements in technology, our society always seems to wonder, what’s next? Well, what is next almost seemed inevitable, but I don’t think anyone thought so soon.  Kia announced they will be installing wireless internet in their vehicles set for production in 2012.

Having the internet at our fingertips makes our lives much easier (and that much more complicated). For business people, this step is very innovative and beneficial; it will allow them to pull out their lap top at any point and shoot a quick e-mail or reference a client’s website.  For others, it’s just a simple luxury. Escape from Hamsterdam

I’m thinking about purchasing a Kia Soul. I visit the Kia website and make my way to the page dedicated to the hip, urban ride. I start to customize one, thinking of the essentials and not-so-essentials that I absolutely must have.  Then, I’m carefully hovering over a very important button. A “buy now” button? No, even with Kia purchasing a new car isn’t that streamlined. Rather I’m taking great care over a button called “Launch”. I’m ready. I press it quickly and firmly. And my hamster is propelled 21 feet through the air, with the aid of a couple of surfboard-topped Souls.

Waukegan new car dealer expands its Kia dealership

It’s rare to hear the words “expand” or “grow” during these unfortunate economical times. It’s especially ironic to hear them in the context of the automobile industry, post the booming success of Cash for Clunkers.
